the scenery crumbles and the the words fade into the chaos.
the ground is a blank white page littered with chasms and mountains of pure black.
the mountains moan in agony and their peeks bellow with the unbridled rage of an endless chaos that dwells inside of them. the chaos of a being laying dormant for century, his voiceless frustration the fissures that shake these mountains.
i stood alone in sight off these great beings and i wondered if i could possibly have done something to them.
i wondered what could i do to tame their pain and frustration.
i thought about the mystery of their claims, and why they screamed so.
i was sorry, sorry that they felt such pain and i could do nothing.
that was when the white space in which i stood upon erupted into a majestic feature of black like those before me. pierced upon is pointed edge i was dragged up into the atmosphere. helplessly struggling to free my self i wasted every ounce of energy i had and then submited to the whim of this growing giant.
the sun got brighter, and the mountains around me shrunk, shrinking until i could see clearly all of them at once; every mountain spewing forth it's angst in a patterned succession.
aghast at what i saw i meekly attempted to fathom what it could mean, but sputtered little thought. bleeding dry i cried to my self, i cried to the mountains, and i cried with every last breath i could muster 'IM SORRY!!!!!!!". the sun gleamed bright and blinding and a small ringing took over my senses, death close, overwhelming me.
darkness enveloped everything to me and i existed only in consciousness.
"why?" i pondered whilst floating in endless black
"what sense does it make
if you want not,
then why should....
why should you scream so!
HOW CAN YOU SCREAM SO!"
suddenly the behemoth i so helplessly perched upon began to rumble.
"HOW IS IT MY KINDNESS THAT DISTURBS YOU SO!"
the rumble became a monstrous tremor, and it shook me even while floating inside my last moments of coherency. in side i was flung violently skyward, i knew this only because of the feeling of space flowing through my hair. i thought "how wondrous a feeling to die to". then it stopped and ray of brilliant light shown down on me, "clearly this is my maker" and i hoped he did not judge me as these mountains did. i stared blankly into this light hoping to view my maker as he scribbled my fate onto the parchment of my past; but then the image behind the light became clear, the mountain.
i opened my eyes, my senses renewed to a degree, to find my self in the sky.
the mountain spewed a fiery red spray of what was only colored air and it bellowed a symphony of death. i came too just in time for my decent. what was once space rushing past me was now it's air and in no time i was inside this beast.
i awoke some time later in a padded chair. around me was an empty chamber of endlessly flashing colors for walls. in front of me a faceless man sat and tipped something into his void of a face as if to drink it. he then set it down in mid air in front of him and it remained as if held.
"you know who i am?" the faceless man emitted.
"you are the man behind the mountains correct", i said.
" yes" he said, " i am the man who makes this happen, the one who made you feel sorrow. i am the man that has killed you."
"but why, all i ever wanted was to help?"
"because we are mountains, and your pity is beneath us.
because we are prideful and because your presence is aggravating."
" this may be so, but i only came at your call!"
" you don't remember do you", said the faceless man.
"you don't remember all we did for you, all we did for you after you created us."
the faceless man stood up, the black in his face now swirled and color started to appear.
"you may have tried so hard to help us, but it was us that helped you. no matter what you think, you only ever hurt us, after we did so much."
the twisting stopped, the color came through, and there now was a spitting image of my self. i sat in horror, my mind racing for any answer at all. perspiration ran down my cheeks and the me came quickly towards me. i was blank, and i would stay blank for i truly never meant to hurt them, and i could say nothing to help my case except for, "im sorry".
"watch how entitled you feel to things, make sure to never take anything for granted...
never ever, assume things are as they seem."
he touched my head and the world around me disappeared into a vortex and slipped quickly away. i stood now, alone on a blank white slate. there was nothing, and i was alone so i sat down to take all of everything in. my but slapped into the white as if it had hit rock and my hands clapped against nothing so as to catch my self. this was a normal thing for any one to do, but right when my hands hit the ground a small black hill grew in front of me.
upon it read "nice to be alive, thanks".
and so i began my new life.
